Exploring the Impact of New Knowledge on Established Values and Beliefs

This exhibition investigates the prompt: "Can new knowledge change established values and beliefs?" by examining the intersection of knowledge and technology.

Through the analysis of three real-world objects, the author explores how AI-generated media challenges the epistemic authority of sensory evidence, how advancements in sports science redefine human biological limits, and how machine translation reveals the limitations of technological knowledge in capturing cultural nuance.

The findings suggest that while new knowledge can overturn long-held certainties and expand perceived possibilities, it also creates new epistemological doubts and highlights the irreplaceable value of human expertise and tacit, culturally embedded knowledge.
