IB examiners are uniquely skilled

You understand the mark schemes, and the nuance

Students desperately need that insight

Why IB examiners choose to work with us

IB examiners already work intensely during exam marking windows. But outside those periods, your expertise is still in demand - and students benefit enormously from real examiner feedback.

Flexible marking work you can do anytime

Fair, transparent pay per script

Zero tutoring admin - no scheduling, no lesson prep

A chance to make a meaningful impact to student confidence and clarity

Work that fits around teaching, tutoring, or family life

You simply do what you’re already brilliant at: marking scripts and giving clear, constructive feedback.

What the role involves

1

Receive a student’s completed IB past paper

You’ll be matched with papers in your subject, level (SL/HL), and paper type (Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3).

2

Mark it using your examiner expertise

On the web based platform, provide: - Marks per question - Short, clear comments - A realistic grade estimate - A brief improvement summary

3

Submit your feedback

No long reports. No complicated systems. A guided workflow through the process.

4

Get paid

You choose how many papers you want to take on - from one a month to several a week.

Pay & workload

We believe our examiners should be paid fairly for their expertise.

Pay per script:
£30.00 per full IB paper

You’ll always see the rate before accepting a script. No surprises. No hidden deductions.

Workload flexibility:

Take on as many or as few papers as you like
Accept or decline any script

Who we’re looking for

We welcome reviewers who are:

  • Current IB examiners
  • Former IB examiners
  • Of any IB subjects

Why this work matters

Students often do past papers without understanding:

!
Why they lost marks
!
What “analysis”, “evaluation”, or “criterion C” really mean
!
How to structure answers
!
What examiners look for in clarity, reasoning, and terminology
!
How to avoid repeating the same mistakes
For students

Your feedback gives them clarity they can’t get anywhere else. For many students, your comments are the moment things finally “click”.

For parents

For many parents, your feedback is the first time they understand how their child can improve.

For you

For you, it’s a chance to use your expertise in a way that’s impactful, rewarding, and professionally meaningful.
